Stormwater Lake Safety
Beaumaris Lake is a storm-water lake. The lake is fed by five other lakes and with the water moving continuously, the ice does not freeze like an ordinary lake would. Weak spots occur making it unsafe for any activity. People and even pets could easily fall through the ice. Please stay off the ice and stay safe. Should your pet go out on the ice it is not advisable to go out after them. Learn more about storm-water lakes
